Harriet Green became involved with the Dereham Meeting Point last year. Harriet helped raise money for a mini bus with disabled capabilities to collect folks from local villages to spend the day at the Centre.

Dereham Meeting Point
Dereham Meeting Point was established in 1986, as a place for the disabled and over 55’s to meet and socialise.
The Meeting Point has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with staff and volunteers always willing to offer help and support.
A home cooked two course lunch is provided daily. Lunch is served at 12.:15 noon (12:00 on Tuesdays), at the very reasonable price of £8.00. Booking is required and we ask you to do this on the day, before 10:30am this can be in person or over the phone.
Alternative menus can be provided and we will do our best to accommodate for all dietary needs.
Teas and Coffees with snacks from the serving hatch are available throughout the day for a small charge.
As well as serving drinks and hot meals, there is an array of activities and entertainment on offer plus regular outings & events.

Meeting Point operates a membership system for use of the facilities, but anyone interested can come and join us for a maximum period of one month before becoming a member.
Annual Membership fee is £60. This is payable annually or £5 monthly.
For those on a Social Services funded Personal Budget – please contact Shonette.

A Foot Practitioner
Visits the centre every six weeks and bookings will need to be made in advance

Magic Table
Our Tovertafle Magic Table is available daily

Free WiFi
Free internet access, with iPads available to use in-house.

Games Room
Our games room is well equipped with a coin operated Snooker/Pool table and dart board. We also have a selection of board games to offer.

Garden
A safe outdoor space to enjoy some fresh air.

We have a timetable of regular activities for the members to participate in, from Art to Fitness.
We also arrange regular outings to places of interest and entertainment.
